Our QL5000 series features the standard, domestic, 3-prong, North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with (5) NEMA 5-15R Q-Lock Clear Receptacles on a Retractable Reel. When fully retracted, the cord features a 5-way splitter with a cord-grip. Once retracted, you can latch the cord-grip onto any part of the cord to hold the desired length in place. The splitter features (5) clear Q-Lock locking receptacles, with LED power lights for convenience. Once you plug the 3’ static leg into a power source, the LEDs light up, reassuring that they are actively receiving electricity. This allows you to check for connectivity simply by sight, especially if the reel is placed in a darker room. These North American extension cords are the standard cords used to connect devices, appliances, and electronics to a power source. On one end, these cords plug directly into any standard NEMA wall outlet or receptacle, and on the other, the receptacle connects to any 5-15P style plug. These are considered extension cords because they increase the range (length) at which you may power your equipment. The QL5000-25 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 125V.
